Noontimes with Franz Schubert

Join us for a special three-part musical series celebrating Franz Schubert and his extraordinary gift for turning words, feelings, and images into music that leave profound lyrical beauty.  Led by local pianist Michael Brady, each session will also introduce one of Schubert's last three piano sonatas composed during an astonishing burst of creativity in the weeks before his death at the age of 31. The sessions will blend live piano performances with fascinating details from what little is known about the composer's public--and secret--lives, with time for questions and conversation.

Whether you're a lifelong lover of classical music or simply curious to learn more, these gatherings offer a welcoming and engaging way to experience one of history's greatest composers.
