The Shafer Historical Museum presents Our Methow Home: Mazama’s first 60 years and the impact of
mining on the Methow Valley. A video, displays of historical images and maps, a book,
and locals and mining experts tell the story of this end of the road community.

The presentation will be offered on
- Friday, July 24th from 7-9pm at the Mazama Community Club
- Saturday, July 25th from 1-3pm at the Red Barn
Come learn about backyard mining and the Mazama goat. We hope to see you there!
Admission is free, but donations are appreciated and support local history preservation.
