Anaka will give a basic introduction to seed saving including:
- Flower anatomy
- Outcrossers vs. inbreeders
- Rouging/trueness to type
- Isolating
- Population size
We will have a chance to walk around the farm and look at different crops to see how they form seeds and how to harvest the seeds from them. You can see the various tools I use to harvest, clean, and manage the quality of the seed.
