Volunteers play a vital role in carrying out the mission of Methow at Home.
Day after day, our volunteers respond to service requests from members by driving them to appointments, helping with light housework, providing handy person help around the home, providing meals as needed, or simply visiting with members for a walk or a chat.
The saying 'it takes a village to raise a child' extends to our mission that
it takes a village to care for our older neighbors.
Join our fabulous team of local volunteers who assist the older members and elders in the Methow Valley, from Methow to Mazama, allowing them to age with dignity and grace in their homes.
This training is for new volunteers that have no prior experience volunteering for Methow at Home. However, current members are welcome to attend in order to learn more about Helpful Village. Contact us for more information.
Please use discretion to keeps others safe and healthy. If you have had potential exposure to COVID-19 or are experiencing cold- or flu-like symptoms of any kind, please do not attend at this time.
